What is HCD (Hyperethical Compulsion Disorder)?

HCD is a diagnosis recognised by DSM IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) as an ongoing pattern of extreme preoccupation with unrealistic, moral reasoning. To the patient this is often perceived as stressful and disorientating, and leads to feelings of fatigue and a sense of becoming overwhelmed by work related tasks. In its most extreme form the patient perceives this as torture. Without treatment, HCD may lead to a chronic and intractable state of dysfunctional reasoning and reduced productivity.

Ethical activity of the brain is a normal function generated through the interaction of cerebral frontal lobes whose benefits may be perceived to have exceeded its costs during the course of human evolution. Especially in today’s advanced economic systems, however, such cerebral activity of moral reasoning may easily become excessive and detrimental to the conduct of executive decisions and thereby immediate economic needs. Demorex is proven to lower the activity of the frontal lobes region of the brain and in this way to decrease hyperethical activity of the brain.
